I recently stayed at a charming countryside retreat and had a truly enjoyable experience. The photos of the property didn't do it justice, as it was even more lovely in person. Although the decor was a bit dated, everything was impeccably clean and it felt like a cozy home away from home. The location was rural yet still close to popular tourist attractions. The peacefulness of the private drive made it incredibly quiet inside, and the well-maintained gardens added to the serene atmosphere. It was also a great place to bring my dog, with nearby dog parks and a secure garden.

One minor inconvenience was the layout of the beds, with single beds upstairs next to the lounge area and a double bed downstairs. Additionally, I had to bring my own bedding, soap, shampoo.
